Church Music gets a new chance
At the 1st of February 2003 a new web site has been launched. Syriacmusic.com presents the Syriac church and folk music.
The purpose of syriacmusic.com is to spread the Syriac church music and to make it available on the net in an easy and professional manner.
With it’s three languages (Syriac, English and Swedish) hopes Issa Habil, a lawyer with music education from USEK University - Lebanon and Abraham Oussi, M.Sc. computer science, to publish and document Syriac music’s texts and notes.
Besides Church music, you’ll be able to listen to Syriac folk music and read their lyrics. Syriac music informs you about Syriac singers, writers, composers and their production.
